Carl’s first published book, Building Your Own Home: Tips, Techniques and Thoughts for the Owner Builder, earned him an eLit Gold Award. Carl’s experience with this book was the springboard for his literary development, while he honed his skills editing for prominent authors, including the late former President of India, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi, Arun Tiwari, Farahnaz Ispahani, Swami Agnivesh, Kishalay Bhattacharjee, Om Swami, and Maxwell Pereira.
The varied subject matters of the books Carl edited lent breadth and depth to his own repertoire. Conversant with genres as diverse as spirituality, politics, health, biography, true crime, and romance, he has become equally comfortable with non-fiction and fiction.
